Actively exporting its products to 11 countries in the regon including Iraq, Qatar and Libya, Tamek has increased its exports to the Middle East by 30 percent in 2017 compared to the previous year. The expected export growth for 2018 is above 20 percent.
Tamek, which produces food products and fruit juice from the purest and natural state of fruits and vegetables, has increased its exports to the Middle East by 30 percent in 2017 compared to the previous year. Having close trade relations with 11 countries in the region, including Iraq, Qatar, Libya and TRNC, Tamek aims in 2018 to increase its exports to the region by more than twenty percent compared to 2017.
Nearly 80 percent of the products exported by Tamek to the Middle East market are fruit juice and 20 percent are food products. Middle Eastern consumers prefer especially mango, orange and mixed nectars as well as 100% apple juice. The most preferred food product of Tamek in the Middle East region is its tomato paste. Giving information about Tamek's exports to Middle East countries Tamek General Manager Cem Kurt said “We are exporting 15 percent of our production to 57 countries. The Middle East market is leading the regions that we pay special attention to”.
Close Contact with Middle Eastern Countries at Gulfood 2018
Participating in Gulfood 2018, which was held on 18-22 February 2018 in Dubai, among the products which Tamek highlighted at the fair were flavored drinks, cold coffee, carbonated beverages, convenience foods, sauces and jams. Having attracted a great deal of attention with these product groups headed by fruit juices and tomato paste in the Middle East, Tamek is re-adapting the packaging and contents of its products according to the food codex and flavor preferences of the countries in the region.

For 2018, it is expected that the exports to the Far East will grow by 30 percent.
